Jay’s teeth are in bad shape after years of neglect and lack of brushing and flossing. A CT scan reveals that he will have to lose some teeth to make way for implants. Jay visits an implantologist to begin his treatment. Each new implant will act as a replacement root of a tooth. A titanium base is screwed into the jawbone, so that false teeth can be later fixed on top with dental cement. Jay then visits Dr. James after changing his habits and undergoing dental surgery, for the final part of his treatment. His new crown and bridgework are ready to be screwed into place.
