So, I decided to investigate and planted a camera viewing the gate as I was about to leave. Whisker was walking with me but I closed the gate against him, I know he doesn't like being left behind but to my uttermost surprise, Whisker jumped over the wall after a few attempts in order to get to me."

My dog does this trick where he lets us out treats and objects on his nose and he'll hold it there for a long time. We tried to put a hamster on his head to see if he'd let us, and he did so we put both of them on his head and he loved them."
