Some background on his case: the charges Villegas is facing date back to 1993, when Armando “Mando” Lazo and Bobby England were gunned down in El Paso, Texas. Villegas was 16 years old at the time. He then confessed to those shootings, but later claimed he was coerced by an El Paso police officer into a confession. Villegas had a mistrial in 1994 due to a hung jury, then a conviction in his second trial in 1995.

Customer Throws Eftpos Machines Occurred on May 11, 2018 / Adelaide, South Australia, Australia A twenty year old woman tried to pay for KFC via bank transfer but got turned down so she ripped out all the eftpos machines and receipt primer machines and ditched them back at the store, one of them hit a monitor and smashed it. She also picked up a twenty-four pack of 7up cans and threw that at the store. Two men then pinned her to the ground until around six police on horses arrived, arrested her and put her in the back of the police van. She also spat on the cops.

At times he was reported to have driven over chairs and umbrellas. Officers do not believe there are any injuries. The suspect was taken into custody by Clearwater Police on the north end of Caladesi Island. He livestreamed his drive on Facebook Live during much of the time.
Bodycam Shows Fatal Police Shootout in Grand Rapids, Michigan The Kent County prosecutor says Grand Rapids officers were justified in fatal shooting of 18-year-old man during a gun battle earlier this month. Prosecutor Chris Becker released his decision Tuesday, along with dash camera and body camera video showing the May 3 shooting of Malik Carey. The footage from dashcams and bodycams shows officers approach Carey as he was seated in the back seat of a car on Dickinson Street near Kalamazoo Avenue SE. They were looking for him in coordination with Grand Rapids Public Schools because he hadn’t been showing up for class. Prosecutors say Carey gave a fake name, so officers waited to get a picture of him to confirm he was the person they were looking for. In the meantime, Carey and one of the officers chatted nonchalantly about Carey’s dreadlocks.
Michigan Cop Shatters Car Window After Driver Refuses To Give ID A Downriver police chief says her department will investigate the arrest of a man who was pulled from his car after an officer shattered a window. The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan posted dash cam video of the April 2016 traffic stop and sent a letter Tuesday to the Taylor police department. Chief Mary Sclabassi said that her department will conduct a “thorough and diligent investigation.” Taylor officers stopped a car driven by Calvin Jones, who traveling with his wife and a boy, and things got tense when Jones apparently declined to provide identification. In the video, Jones is heard saying, “You gotta let me know what’s going on, man,” to which an officer replies, “You’re going to jail is what’s going on.” As another officer puts on gloves, Jones asks, “For what?…On what charges?” That’s when the cop in the gloves pulls on the driver’s side window, breaking it. There is some yelling as Jones is dragged out of the car onto the ground and arrested. The officer who broke the window claims Jones was reaching for something between seats. Jones said he was just trying to unlock his seat belt.
Greece: Police clash with Idomeni refugees as protests continue Scuffles erupted between the police and refugees at the Idomeni refugee camp on Tuesday with a group of refugees continuing to block train tracks near the camp calling for open borders. Police used batons against refugees who responded by throwing missiles towards the police line. A large number of police officers have been deployed at the camp in a bid to keep order. Earlier on Tuesday, scuffles broke out between groups of refugees as several men attempted to remove protest banners and posters from tents.
