Bernard 'Buddy' Rich was an American jazz drummer who is known today as one of the greatest drummers of all time, and regularly comes as 'the greatest drummer in the world' in most of the large and brilliant career. His father noticed his talent when he was only one year, and could keep a steady pace with two spoons. Just 18 months, He was a child prodigy performing live performances, and at age 11 he was already head band.
Perhaps the most surprising fact about the Buddy Rich is that he never had any formal training on the drums, nor could read music. Extra, He often claimed he almost never did practice, but he played only during the concert. Many of the members of the bands say that had a second drummer in rehearsals that he read music and played once piece, you only need the Buddy Rich to fully memorized.
Here he performs an incredible solo at the “Concert for the Americas” festival, on August 20, 1982.
EARTH will not hear such a GENIUS for a long time !!!!!
