This is the hilarious moment a toddler tries and struggles to keep wrapping paper flat on the ground for Christmas presents.

While John Thueringer watches on in Snohomish, Washington, USA, his nephew Cody lays out some festive gift decoration and walks to one end.

Having laid the corners down, the almost two-year-old walks away, only for the paper to curl back up on December 18.

After several more attempts, Cody quickly gets frustrated and in a final attempt to flatten the wrapping paper, he trips and falls flat on his face.
