A wingsuit pilot has captured the spectacular moment he flies past Christ the Redeemer.

Carlos Briceno, from Deland, Florida, US, can be seen flying past the Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in his wingsuit.

The professional skydiver – who has 900 skydives and 800 base jumps under his belt – was over the moon to be hired by Red Bull China to perform the stunt.
