Sam Ryder caused collective hysteria at the Phoenix Open by scoring a “hole in one” in front of 20,000 furious people on the mythical hole of the “Coliseum”. One of the shortest holes on the course at 162 yards (148m), a star attraction which is surrounded by a grandstand.
