Hornschlittenrennen (toboggan run on a traditional toboggan)
A “Hornschlitten” is a traditional sledge that once allowed hay and wood to be transported into the valley during winter periods. Today, especially during the carnival, there are some places in the Bavarian Alps and the Allgäu where people can be seen, sometimes in costume, running down the slope and jumping over obstacles.
