In this animation the CGP Grey explains the causes of congestion on the roads and how to avoid. It specifically mentions, there are coordination problems among drivers, but also explains to us that if everyone kept a reasonable distance between the other cars there would be less 'jams' on the road. A solution lies in concerted behavior by drivers, and avoidance of individualism. Unfortunately, there is little chance that such behavior will be implemented by all.
