The elephant Kham Lhasa, one of the youngest residents of Elephant Nature Park, a shelter and elephant rescue center in Mae Taeng Thailand, runs into a river to save Darrick, a staff member at the lodge, when he pretends that threatens to drown.

Very quickly, the young elephant reaches the man and gives him the trunk to help him stay on the surface. This action shows the love that can have an elephant for a man, when their relationship is based on mutual respect.
