Rare images of six species that disappeared from 1900 until today. A recent annual report by the World Organization WWF revealed the disappearance of 58% of vertebrates on the planet in just 40 years.

This number could reach 67% by 2020 without taking any steps to reverse the trend. Many of the disappearances were due to the loss or degradation of Habitat from agriculture, logging, mining or energy production.
