To the documentary Laurel Matziaraki '4.1 Miles' on the refugee, is among the ten films from around the world that will vie for a place in the final five nominations for the Oscar for Best Documentary Short this year.

The film captures the dramatic business of the port authorities of Lesvos and the Governor Kyriakou Papadopoulou, to save refugees trying to reach the coast of the Greek island off the Turkish coast.
