On January 19, 2017 in the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Tbilisi, Georgia, new parents lined up to baptize their babies on the feast of Epiphany. Bulk Baptism is an invention of Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia (Orthodox Church), one of the most influential people of the country.

To increase the birth rate in the country, Patriarch has promised to personally baptize every third child of a family. In the video, one can see the technique, which consists of the immersion of the head and the baby's feet quickly to agiasma. The Patriarch baptized 780 children that day.
