Last Thursday, the Israeli judo champion Tal Flicker was not happy to hear the national anthem, While she had won a gold medal in Judo for the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, held in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).

When the 25-year-old judoka climbed to the top of the podium, heard the anthem of the International Federation and not of Israel. This did not stop the Flicker from the sing the anthem in a whisper.

“The music they played was just background noise to me. I sang the national anthem with all my heart', said. Also not uplifted during the ceremony the flag of Israel, but the flag of the Federation.
