At a gas station in Indianapolis United States, a customer recorded two cashiers under the influence of powerful opioid painkillers. These drugs intended for patients suffering from severe pain (usually cancer), but they have been massively prescribed by doctors (pushed by pharmaceutical) to relieve chronic pain, such as arthritis or back pain. This is a real epidemic in recent years in the United States, affecting all segments of the population with about 650.000 opioid prescriptions to be administered per day. The effects of opioids are comparable to those of opium.
