The Tateyama Kurobe is a unique and spectacular route through the Northern Japan Alps, which is traversed by several transport, such as cable cars and buses. Completed in 1971, and connects Toyama City in Toyama prefecture with town Omachi in Nagano prefecture. The section between Tateyama and Ogizawa station is completely inaccessible to vehicles from December to mid-April. In April the trail opens again and offers guests this stunning spectacle.
