An aircraft McDonnell Douglas MD-83 which kept flying from Antalya (Turkey) to Kiev with 169 passengers, Igor Sikorsky landed at the airport, but escaped from the runway and stopped abruptly in the dust. There were no injuries, but the aircraft suffered significant damage.
