A holothuroid or commonly 'sea cucumber', do his business at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, near Japan. The sea cucumber are marine animals that live in sand or rock crevices and coral reefs. They are usually solitary and feed on animal or vegetable substances, which they find in the bottom mud. Sea cucumbers serve a useful role in the marine ecosystem as they help in recycling nutrients, cleaving residues and other organic materials.
