During their family vacation, biologists Kapua Kawelo and her husband Joby Rohrer, They enjoyed an afternoon swimming with their kids off of Kaunolu Bay coast in Hawaii, when they saw a whale shark approaching 6 meters. They observed that a fishing rope was around his head shark, preventing the fins. The whale seemed exhausted as the rope was threatening his life, and needed immediate help. The trained freediver Joby Rohrer rushed to release him.
