The meteor had a diameter of about 17 meters and could weigh up to 10,000 tons. On 15 February 2013, it entered the atmosphere over the Chelyabinsk region – after 32 seconds it broke into many smaller parts at an altitude of almost 30 km above the ground. On the film, we can see the effects of the shockwave that was created during this explosion.
