A fire destroys the National Museum of Rio de Janeiro, one of the oldest museums in Brazil created by King John VI and opened in 1818. 200 years of history were almost completely ash.
20 million were in the museum exhibits, including a collection Egyptian, an art collection, Greco items, paleontology collections, a dinosaur skeleton found in the Minas Gerais region, and the oldest human fossil discovered in Brazil.
