Some of the earliest film footage, were shot by director Alexandre Promio 1896 and 1897. The Promio visited many cities around the world on behalf of the company Lumière 1896-1897, in order to promote the cinema. This is a brief shot of Jerusalem in 1897, wherein the speed and added artificial sound is corrected.
