In a video recorded by student researchers, A Mojave Rattlesnake (Crotalus scutulatus) trying to catch a male kangaroo rat (Dipodomys Merriam) that manages to fend off the attacker a kick in the air. This impressive movement allowed the small rodent to avoid a deadly bite.
