On June 28 of 2019 in India, a Jaguar fighter plane collided with a flock of birds shortly after taking off from the air base in Ambala. The collision with birds caused damage to one of the aircraft engines. The pilot followed the standard procedure and threw two external fuel tanks and the exercise bombs had, to recover the aircraft. Then able to land safely. One of the tanks landed on residential area, but no one was injured.
