In the center of advanced composite materials and structures at the University of Maine (USA), is the largest three-dimensional printer in the world. The printer is designed to print objects up to 30 meters in length, 6,7 meters in width and 3 meters in height. For the first time a three-dimensional printer prints a large object, a cruiser. Printing lasted 70 hours and was the first in the world in corresponding size. The construction of such a vessel by conventional methods will typically take weeks or months. The vessel and the printer revealed to the public at an event, you can see here.
