Aesop's Fables – The Fox and the Stork

This timeless collection contains 30 beautiful fables of Aesop. Read the story of the lion befriends a mouse, the story of the cunning fox, find out what happened to the foolish raven and the wolf dressed sheep.

The wonderful illustrations and your storytelling exhibit perfectly the world of Aesop, stories which will enchant you for many years. (description back cover)

We read several versions of Aesop's fables with small, but when I lower myself, but, I think this version is the best I have read so far.

The book Tales from Aesop, It includes most fables of Aesop, unfolding with beautiful, pithy and fictional way, nor too dry and just given (to fit too many in a book), nor too complex (that is a story almost every story). Each myth-story is 3 to 4 pages, read comfortably in the evening before bedtime in preschool, but mainly primary school, as it has several 'unknown' words in it, something that personally I like, because I live in them explaining in my quest to learn the small.

Although I do not like fairy tales that are too didactic ('kids should listen to their parents and eat all their food'), but leaves it to keep within the beautiful story, it is in this case nice plus the 'moral lesson' at the end of each story, knowing the history of Myths, especially the way they are given here.

The story of the fox and the stork, It is one of our favorite and most famous. Random started this, just as it was her turn to read. :)
I hope to follow other.
