Sunday February 9, 2020 in the Netherlands, 250 cyclists started along a bridge in the middle of the North Sea, to complete a cycling 9km against the winds of the storm Ciara. The NK Tegenwindfietsen is a cycling race against the wind, which can only be organized under certain conditions: city bikes, contrary wind and up to 7 Beaufort (between 50 and 60 km / h). In this race the wind strength was at 9 Beaufort (between 70 and 80 km / h). Winner was Max de Jong, 25, lasting twenty minutes thirty seconds and an average speed of 26 km / h.
