March 13, 1985, pilot Scott Gordon tries to land a Piper Turbo-Arrow aircraft, when he noticed that one of the landing gear was stuck. Engineers Joe Lippo and Rhett Radford had a radio communication with Gordon and found a plan according to which the plane would land on one wheel and a truck would be used to support the right wing..
