On Saturday, June 6, 2020 in London, a police officer with a horse was violently hit on a traffic light during a protest against racism and police violence. The horse was hit by an object and began to run uncontrollably. The rider hit a traffic light before falling to the ground. He was taken to hospital, and was found to have a fracture in the key, broken ribs and lung rupture. The horse was not injured.
