Gordon Murray, creator of the McLaren F1 (for many the best sports car in history), promised that he would create the successor to that iconic car. It had to be fast, manual, as little assisted as possible, have a fast turning motor, the pilot had to go in the middle, and above all it had to be light as a feather.
