Demonstrations began in Poland on 22 October 2020 against the rulings of the Constitutional Court on abortion. Strict new law makes abortions illegal in Poland in almost all cases, including severe and irreversible disability or terminal and life-threatening illness of the fetus. The members of the court are mainly composed of judges appointed by the ruling party (Pis).
