While doing a renovation at their home in Montgomery County, New York, the owners found bottles of alcohol from the time of the prohibition, hidden behind their walls. The house once belonged to a man named Adolph Humpfner, who died in 1932 and was a bootlegger in the 1920s – when manufacturing was banned, the transportation and sale of alcohol in the United States. The bottles were hidden with straw wrapped around them. A total of 66 bottles of alcohol were discovered, with 13 of them being full.
