On Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the eastern province of Chandaburi, Thailand, ο Mana Srivate, a rescuer with 26 years of service, saved the life of a small elephant by giving him cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The elephant was hit by a motorcycle while crossing a road with the rest of its herd. He got back on his feet after ten minutes, and then transferred for examination. He then returned to the scene of the accident, so that his family can find him.
