Η Khing Hnin Wai, an aerobics teacher in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, usually recorded herself dancing at a roundabout in the capital, but on the morning of Monday, February 1, 2021 and while shooting a video for a dance competition, the coup in the country was unfolding behind it. An escort of military vehicles was moving towards the parliament while Khing Hnin Wai continued to dance, considering that it was just a formal escort. The army took control of the country, arresting President Aung San Suu Kyi and other senior officials of her party. The leader of the army, Min Aung Hlaing, has now complete legislative, judicial and executive powers.
