On the morning of Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Nizhnevartovsk, Russia, a bear escaped from a hotel complex where it was in a cage, and started chasing a man before being hit by a bus. Slightly injured, was later found by police in an industrial area. The owner refused to take her back and the bear had to be euthanized. The local authorities finally decided not to kill her after many messages of protest.

   What disgusting people. The bear was probably kept as a “living organic waste bin” and fed with waste.
   I guess, the bear was just looking for a friend and a playmate. People often don't understand animals, everything is very simple. Just think, they are small children and you will understand them already.
   Without protests, the bear would be dead now.
