On the afternoon of Friday, September 17, 2021 in Torreon, Mexico, sparks from various sparklers set fire to the hanging decoration of a banquet hall during a wedding dinner. Within a few seconds, the metal structure of the decoration collapsed and the guests quickly left the place. Firefighters had to intervene to put out the fire which fortunately did not cause casualties.
