On Wednesday, October 20, 2021 around 4 p.m.:30 am. in Yuma, Arizona, James Kilser, United States Army veteran, was at a gas station when a man, accompanied by two of his accomplices, attempted to commit an armed robbery. Within seconds the 32-year-old former Marine fell on the robber to disarm him, while his accomplices immediately fled. The offender, a 14-year-old teenager, prosecuted for armed robbery and assault.
