On Thursday, December 16, 2021 in New York, a fire broke out on the fourth floor of a building. Faced with danger, two teenagers came out of an apartment through a window and were caught by an outside pipe. They then slid down with the help of the pipe until they reached the ground, without being injured. 180 firefighters intervened to bring the fire under control, which eventually left one dead and eight injured.
