Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Zeeland High School in Michigan, Jules Hoogland, a 17-year-old blind schoolgirl, scored a basket during a basketball game that brought together players with and without disabilities. In a free throw, aimed listening to the sound of someone hitting the base of the basket with a stick, successfully putting the ball in the hoop. A crowd of 2,500 students and staff adored her.
