In Ceara, Brazil, an emotionally charged man sitting outside a building holding a knife. The man said he wanted to commit suicide. A group of police officers surrounded the man, but they did not speak to him aggressively or threateningly. One of them, who is identified as “Officer Teixeira” in the video, she talks to him calmly and tries to persuade him to throw the knife. The man finally does, while then the policeman will not run to arrest him but to comfort him, understanding his poor psychological state. The man was then taken to hospital to be examined for possible injuries, and was eventually transported to Dr. Estevao for psychological evaluation.

   What a good cop, what a humane man !
   If you know how rough things are in Brazil, then this is really a special case. Police shoot very quickly, if someone has a knife. The man must have been very exhausted, when he cries like that. I hope, man
   was able to help him professionally. There are so many tragedies in this world and a few warm loving gestures and words are more important than ever.
