On Thursday July 21, 2022 during a private party at a residence in Karmei Yosef, Israel, a hole suddenly formed in the bottom of a swimming pool and all the water was sucked up within minutes. A man in shock was taken to hospital after nearly being swept away. He is suffering from a concussion. Partygoers reported a 30-year-old man missing. Unfortunately, rescuers found his lifeless body after several hours of searching. According to geologists, the earth in this place is not friable and there is no geological reason for the collapse of the pool floor. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of this tragic accident.
