On Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Taranto-Grottaglie Airport, Italy, a Boeing 747 Dreamlifter of US cargo airline Atlas Air lost a wheel seconds after takeoff. The wheel then crashed into a vineyard, luckily there were no casualties. The transport aircraft continued its normal flight to Charleston, United States.
