On Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, a tanker carrying fuel caused a major fire when it was hit at a level crossing by a commercial train, which then rolled into the flames. About 120 homes were affected by the incident and three people were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. At least 1,500 people had to be evacuated from their homes. The driver of the truck suffered a minor injury to the hand and was arrested by the police.
