This simulator from the 1970s uses a miniature world to simulate the driver's perspective, and was intended for training soldiers in chariot driving.
At that time, the simulator was controlled by a bulky 1970s computer, but the museum was unable to put the parts together and rebuild this piece when they rebuilt the device. So now the emulator is controlled by a Raspberry Pi. The tank's tiny portholes are connected to a camera mounted on a miniature model. The camera is moved by a robotic arm based on the movements the user makes in the simulator.
