In Argentina's Los Glaciares National Park, Spectacular footage has been captured of a huge chunk of the Perito Moreno glacier breaking off and emerging from the surface of the water, gradually revealing its submerged part. The height of the Perito Moreno glacier is 170 meters, of which 74 are above the surface, while the rest are under the waters of Lake Argentino. With a length of 5 kilometers, the glacier is slowly advancing into the lake facing the Magellan Peninsula. When he reaches the opposite bank, divides the lake in two, then acting as a natural barrier. The water level of Lake Argentino then rises to 30 meters and begins to cut into the glacier. As it becomes less durable, it buckles under the pressure.
