In Şanlıurfa, Turkey, passers-by filmed the collapse of a building after the great earthquake that hit the country. On Monday, February 6, 2023, a magnitude 7 earthquake,8 Richter struck southeastern Turkey. The epicenter of the earthquake is located at a depth of about 17,9 km, in the Pazarcik district. After the first earthquake, about fifty aftershocks have been recorded, including a size 7,5 points. The death toll as of this writing is approximately 1,700 dead.
