Scott Haraguchi kayaked patrol 1,5 kilometers off the coast of Kualoa in Hawaii, when he was attacked by a tiger shark. The shark rushed out of the water and bit his kayak. The fisherman initially thought it was a turtle, but he soon realized his mistake. He managed to push the shark away with his leg without being injured.
