Η Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organization, develops and scales technologies to clean the seas of plastic and trash. The Interceptor 006, a special dam that traps trash, was commissioned in Rio Las Vacas, in Guatemala. From June 13, over 3000 tons of trash have been cleared from the river before reaching the Caribbean Sea.
