Swallowfishes and their predators

The swallow fishes, are fish of the Exocoetidae family that have developed fins on their gills, which give them the possibility to be ejected and suspended over the water several meters. This ability of theirs can make them more agile, but at the same time it makes them vulnerable above and below the surface of the water – since above they are hunted by frigate birds (Frigate), and from below fish hunters (Coryphaena hippurus).
