Passengers on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 from Portland to Ontario, California had a very difficult time during their flight, when partial decompression occurred at an altitude of 5 km (16,300 feet) due to the rupture of the plane's side escape door, leaving a large hole in the fuselage. Information indicates that along with the door, the seat in which no one was sitting at the time of the incident was also torn. The crew then made an emergency landing.
